Shut the Box has a variety of historical origins, with the most common origination being Normandy France in the 12th Century.
In our version, each player gets their own set of numbers 1-12 that they are competitively trying to put away. Each player takes turn rolling 2 dice. They can put away numbers based on either dice roll, or the sum of the two dice.
The first person to put away all 12 numbers wins.
