FDM Printer Materials

PLA - Polylactic Acid
The most commonly used and versatile material in 3D printing. While not the strongest of all materials, it's perfect for fun creations like magnets, molds, fidgets toys and more.
DeLorean Puzzle Car

PETG - Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol
This material is commonly used for water bottles — known for its strength, flexibility, and resistance to abrasion. It's also the only food-safe material, making it perfect for cookie cutters or mechanical parts.
Jelly Donut Filler Plate

TPU - Thermoplastic Polyurethane
The sole flexible material on the market—a powerhouse with exceptional temperature resistance and bending capabilities. Its unique properties make it the most challenging material to print.
Barbell rack cover

PC - Polycarbonate
The ultimate in abrasion and impact resistance with our top-tier material. Though challenging to print, it reigns as the strongest option available, perfect for robust mechanical parts.
Electric Motor Internal Part

Ferromagnetic PLA
As the name states it's an iron (ferro) based magnetic material. This is highly recommended for prototype prints where you want to see some magnetic or higher strength properties.
Electric motor prototype

Carbon Fiber PLA/PETG
Adding carbon fiber to your prints can add better strength and durability properties to your prints. Ideally used for prototype project, it can also be used for cosplay or to just add a nice aesthetic to you print.
Replacement Motorcycle Part

Wood PLA
This is a more cosmetic material that can give you a more natural feel and look to a 3D print. It also gives of a smell of a campfire when printing.
Bird Feeder Lid

Nylon - Taulman Bridge
Very high in flexibility and durability with this material, accompanied by high chemical resistance. However, be prepared for the challenge of printing with its low strength and stiffness.
Tandem Bike Bushing

ABS - Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene
The automotive-grade material used for car bumpers—known for exceptional heat resistance and strength. It outperforms PETG but requires more advanced printing skills.
Battery Mounting Bracket

ASA - Acrylonitrile Styrene Acylate
This is a less common material, but a good alternative to ABS. It has improved UV resistance, which makes it a great option for outdoor applications compared to other materials.
Hydro flask cup holder insert

HIPS - High Impact Polystyrene
A very strong and high impact resistant material namely used for prototypes and engineering applications.
Mounting Bracket

PP - Polyporpylene
One of the better materials if you're looking for something that requires chemical resistance and durability.
