Royal Game of Ur was played around the Middle East among a large variety of people from Nobles to the common folk. It had a large reach being considered one of the oldest games known to society and is theorized to be the predecessor of Backgammon.

This race game starts by rolling 4 pyramid dice, each white marking pointing up counts as a movement. The goal is to move all 7 pieces around the track before your opponent, however you're able to get bumped off the track to restart the movement of that piece.

In order to move the pieces off the board, you must roll the exact number when at the end of your track. Each opponent has their side of the track (safe track), while also moving down the middle track (battle area). There are special pieces (sun shapes) called Rosette, these special spaces allow you to roll again and move more pieces while also being safe spaces you can't be bumped on.
