What is 3D printing?
3D printing is a form of additive manufacturing and the process of printing we use is called fused deposition model (FDM). FDM printing typically uses types of thermoplastic filament like PLA, ABS, PETG etc. There is a hot end the plastic is pushed into, and this is then melted through the nozzle being printed layer by layer. Most models are typically printed with what’s called an infill as most models are typically not printed solid.
